Whats going on, babe? So long time I don't share anymore here. Hopefully you'll still be loyal to keep reading this blog :D
Actually I have no idea to write about...
Hmm.. Yet I'm interested to share about what I visited yesterday. I visited the School of Mental Retardation (MR)/SLB-C of Zinnia in Tebet, Jakarta. I could see how poor children are with their retardation. I thought that they just have IQ lower than normal people in generally, then made them could't study like us. In fact, more than that, they couldn't do daily activities with their selves like us, although just simple activities like wearing shirt or pants, putting something in its place, etc. They needed help from others to survive of this life. I interviewed one of their teacher about them. She told me much and made me compassion. Suddenly, I reflected their life with mine and I realized that I'm so lucky. In this perfect life, sometimes I still complain. So much. Besides there's no reason to me not to be grateful to Allah SWT.
Yeah, I believe you feel so when you realize there is someone's not as lucky as you. And didn't Allah said in Qur'an, Surah Ar-Rahmaan about this repeatedly?
" Then which of the favors of your Lord will you deny? " (Q.S. Ar-Rahmaan: 13)
Try to ponder... A lot of things that can be grateful. Don't complain much! See the bright side. And be grateful always. :)
with Desta, a friendly MR kid :)
